         PRO Kids Board of Directors

        Applications are now being accepted for the P.R.O. Kids Board of Directors. The P.R.O. Kids Board is entrusted with the management of the P.R.O. Kids service.
P.R.O. Kids is a charitable organization housed and coordinated by the Recreation & Culture Division of the City of Thunder Bay.
A vacancy for the balance of a 2-year term exists representative of one or more of the following areas: youth; funders; recreation, sport, art, culture partners, community leaders, families using the service and other areas of expertise and experience.
Application information and a description of the roles and responsibilities of the Board are available at the Recreation & Culture Division office, Victoriaville Civic Centre or by e-mailing hwojda@thunderbay.ca.

Deadline for applications is Monday, May 31, 2010.

        Garden Stone Sales in Support of PRO Kids

        Enhance your garden with hand made garden stones made by local artisans.  
        Samples of the stones are on display at Victoriaville Civic Centre, 
        Community Services front lobby area.

        Future Links, Junior Golf Skills Clinic & Competition

       Saturday May 29th at Chapples Golf Course
        For children & youth ages 8 to 15.
        8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Sign-in.
        Clinic starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends between 1:00 & 1:30. -Rain or Shine
        Golf specialists will teach basic golf skills at various stations

        Pre-registration required before May 27th.  Call 625-2351

        Cost $15.00          Registration limited so sign up early.

        Adult volunteers needed to help supervise children and youth.  Call 625-3212
        Mornings can be chilly.  Dress children appropriately for weather.

    Recycle your Unwanted Cell Phones

       Bring your cell phone (operational or not) to one of the following locations 
        for recycling:
       * T Bay Tel Store (Thunder Centre)
       * T B Com (Lithium St.)
       * Victoriaville Civic Centre, Community Services Department (main floor)

       PRO Kids receives payment for cell phones that are recylced.
